When I finished reading this, I was sitting at work wondering if there was meant to be a political message here or just political humor. The title definitely seems to be pointing to an opinion on the matter. The funny thing was, later that night a coworker made a joking comment about the possibility of bringing personal weapons to work. Haha! This story was still stuck in my head, and it was just funny timing. I appreciate the humor this story forces on a serious, but truly somewhat ridiculous political problem.

The irony and the humor are strong in this story, which is what makes it such an awesome read. Really enjoyed reading this complex, yet humorous piece. :)

This story is absurdist yet strikes a cord, which I think can be said about most things swirling in our political climate these days. I very much appreciate the stark language that to me mirrors the directness of a bullet. Through humor meshing with the thought-provoking topic, this story will definitely stick with me.

This wasn't at all what I expected, and I really appreciate that. The humor and style of the story are deceptively complex. This piece said a lot, and I have a feeling I'll catch even more details and nuances during my next reading. Really great work.

Such a potent and heavily relevant short story. Tastefully comedic but still smart, conveying an important political message.

You can literally taste the irony. Tastes...Iron-y. This was wonderfully entertaining as well as thought provoking!

This was a great story! Not only is it humorous in many ways, it also addresses a serious political issue by showing what a world where everyone owns a gun would be like. It's quite a powerful piece.
