Look At Me is a brilliant story! Kate discovering that her diamond ring was made of glass is an unexpected delightful turn in the story, a comical tragedy.
Great concepts for all of these. Very well done. Brilliant. I do especially like the colorful take on the old proverb in "House of Glass and Stone."
Excellent piece of work! Creative title "Sea of Glass"
I'm taking these a couple at a time. So interesting! I enjoyed how the author of Sea of Glass made it clear where the boy was without saying so outright. Whether through the boy's oblivious observation of his observers or his dialogue with the researcher, I had little doubt what kind of situation he was in. However, because the boy himself didn't fully understand the implications of where he was or recall anything before his glass box, the story made me want to know who he was just like the researcher! Nice job! As for Serious Spills, I thought that the author mastered a very down-to-earth, funny, and even likable character while exploring the story prompt in a delightful and thought provoking way. Considering all the disasters that could ensue from disappeared glass was shaking . By using the main character as something warm and good-humored to cling to, the author seems remind us to take each shattering day one step at a time--and together. I really enjoyed this story.
