Come raise a glass and some funds to fight illiteracy in Colorado and around the world.
Illiteracy is a silent crisis in America. Two-thirds of children who struggle with reading by the fourth grade will engage in criminal activity, creating a cycle of incarceration and recidivism that can last a lifetime. Currently, 70% (1.6M) of people in the U.S. Prison System struggle with literacy. A staggering 45% (1.04M) are functionally illiterate. Let’s work together to fight illiteracy and break this cycle.
Tethered by Letters is a literacy nonprofit, creating programs and free resources to fight illiteracy globally. Help us fund our literacy initiatives, such as the Frames Prison Program which offers free education to incarcerated people in Colorado, helping to reduce recidivism and positively impact hundreds of lives.
From government officials to stars in the entertainment industry, our annual Novel Gala gathers over 200 leaders in philanthropy, literature, and education.
Join us in honoring Carrie Morgridge with the Novel Philanthropic Award for her outstanding contributions to local and global causes in literacy.
