Where does the money go?

TBL uses funding in six ways:


Staff Compensation—TBL is a unique writing service because it employs qualified, professional editors to provide free, personalized editing consultation for members. This free service saves members time and money. TBL's editors also contribute to the literary journal.

 

Literary Competitions—TBL hosts four literary competition a year to give monetary awards to writers who produce remarkable works.

 

Scholarships—TBL awards student members who exhibit exemplary strength in their area of writing.

 

Internships—TBL offers summer internships for novice editors who want to learn about publishing and be successful in the literary world.

 

Lectures—TBL hosts an annual lecture series to educate college and high school students about career writing.

 

Website—TBL employs graphic designers and website techies to support its online community and literary journal.
