Beautifully lyrical. I loved the line breaks in both poems, they really changed the rhythm and pacing of the pieces. Loved the title of the first poem in particular too.

I especially enjoy the enjambment of "Like Two Really Beautiful Dumb Swans." More than anything, I believe it lends a hand to the overwhelming sense of detachment. Clever use of form.

I think that "Like Two Really Beautiful Dumb Swans" is an excellent example of how cutting back on unnecessary words adds so much to poems.
